Redcar is a great place to visit, not only for its natural beauty but for its proximity. So here is a list of things to do in under an hours drive from Redcar.

Although this guide is aimed at those who can drive, you could also get the train to many of these destinations from Redcars Central Train Station. If you require car hire then you might want to think about using Europecar or Premier Car Hire.

I have found these places to be very welcoming and have managed to return to quite a few of them many times over.

You will find lots of things to do here. If you are into food, head to Middlesbrough for lots of different choices, if it’s the summer, and you fancy some seaside fun head to Seal Sands. If you want to enjoy a hike, then head to the North Yorkshire Moors.

You will find lots to do to make Redcar even better.

Let’s take a look at some day trips you can do from Redcar.
